Huayi Brothers film company has announced the 3rd installment in the ‘Detective Dee’ franchise tentatively titled DETECTIVE DEE: THE FOUR HEAVENLY KINGS.

Director TSUI HARK will return to helm once again with MARK CHAO (Young Detective Dee: Rise Of The Sea Dragon) confirmed to reprise his role as a young ‘Detective Dee’. This latest installment will follow ‘Dee’ as he is “forced to defend himself against the accusations of Empress Wu while investigating a crime spree”.

Other returning cast members includes KENNY LIN, WILLIAM FENG, and CARINA LAU. New additions to the cast includes MA SICHUN (A Rain Cloud in the Sky) and ETHAN JUAN (The Assassin).
