SYNOPSIS: One of the last good cops around, Hong Kong detective Bennie Black (Chan) has been tracking dangerous crime boss Victor Wong for over a decade. When Bennie’s beautiful young niece Samantha (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with Wong’s crime syndicate, he must track down the one man who can help her: fast-talking, American gambler Connor Watts (Knoxville). Watts, who is also on the run from the same mob and a dangerous Russian assassin. Eventually catching up with Connor in Siberia, Bennie races against the clock to bring him back to Hong Kong. The unlikely pair embark on a hilarious, perilous adventure from the windswept dunes of the Gobi Desert, to the rocky spires of the Huangshan Mountains. Cultures collide in this buddy comedy which takes us to places on earth we have never seen before.

Former WWE Diva EVE TORRES have joined the cast of JACKIE CHAN’s upcoming action-comedy SKIPTRACE!

She announced the following from her Official Website:

Hi Believers,

I am SUPER excited to announce that I am off to Beijing, China for a sweet role in an upcoming film! I am totally thrilled because I will be working with one of my childhood idols, Jackie Chan! I will be learning from the best, working hard, and having a blast, so I may have limited internet access in China. I will try to keep you guys posted with pictures, blogs, and updates over the next couple months!

Aside from her experience as a wrestler, Torres also practices Kickboxing and have a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. No words on what role she will be playing.

‘Skiptrace’ is being directed by 90s action guru RENNY HARLIN (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) and stars martial arts legend JACKIE CHAN, FAN BINGBING (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), and JOHNNY KNOXVILLE (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). The film follows Chan as “a Hong Kong detective who teams up with a mouthy American gambler (Knoxville) to save his niece (BingBing) and take down the city’s most notorious criminal.” The tone of the film is said to be similar to ‘Midnight Run’.
